The setting

This Launceston coworking organisation rents workspace to a community of startups and small businesses. People share the building while working on different businesses, projects and schedules.

The installation spans two levels of the workspace. Exposed brickwork and timber beams give the setting a distinctive character.

The pods

Two FocusPod Duo pods were installed, with one on each level. Each adds an enclosed two-person space within the broader coworking setting.

The photographs show the placement of both pods and the shared table and upholstered seating inside. Their white exteriors and glass fronts sit alongside the building’s existing materials.

The detail

The two-level arrangement is the defining feature of this installation. Rather than treating the building as a single open area, the project places a pod on each level.

The short walkthrough below shows the actual spaces, including the surrounding workspace and pod interior.

Planning a similar space?

A space to talk on each level.

With a Duo on each floor, members have a dedicated place for a call or a two-person conversation close to where they work. Both pods sit naturally alongside the building’s exposed brickwork and timber beams.

Your space. Your FocusPod.
